Our West End Pils (formerly branded as Lager), our core range Czech-style pilsner lager, was awarded the Champion Best in Category Award (Lager) in keg by the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) at the SIBA South East & LBA Independent Keg Beer Festival 2020. This was the regional heat of the SIBA National beer competition which was carried out at the Love Beer London beer festival on 13th-15th Feb 2020. Our West End Pils will now proceed to the National Lager final which will be held at the SIBA Beer X event in Liverpool in March 2020.
In a similar vein our West End Pils in can was also awarded as the regional Champion Lager in the SIBA South East small pack beer competition in June 2019, whereby the can version of our West End Pils will also proceed to the final at Beer X in Liverpool in March 2020.
This follows on from our Lager (the brand that our West End Pils was formerly known as) in can coming 3rd place in the National SIBA beer competition at Beer X in 2019.
We are immensely proud of this beer winning so many great awards, and this really is testament to our brewers brewing one of the hardest beer styles to such high standards on a consistent basis.
